Hope you are all keeping safe and well

The August 2020 three-day event was a complete success, so thank all of you who took part and I can now say that all monies are in and vendors have now started to be paid out.

Thank you all in taking part in our little surveys that we set on sale days and the response again has been wonderful. The dunking biscuit that came out in top position was HOBNOBS.

The gentleman who brought his late sons Star Trek collection was delighted when we told him that who had managed to put half of the collection in the August sale. Then we told him that this half had realized over £700.00 and that was after our commission was taken out. He was totally overwhelmed and told us that he never thought that the collection was worth anything like that, he said he was hoping that the whole collection might have been worth about £300.00.We have allocated enough lots in our next sale so we can accommodate the second half and hopefully raise another £700.00.

Many thanks to the new members of team A.S.H. they really did us proud in getting everything sorted. It has been a remarkably busy week at the sale room and again our staff stepped up to the plate. They have packed over 100 parcels and now all orders are ready for shipping, some have already been sent out and the others are waiting in the dispatch area waiting to go either by personal courier or by Royal Mail.

In between packing, looking after customers who came to pick up their orders, dealing with payments over the telephone, emails and everything else, the team have been busy sorting out the next big event.

We have now got over 800 lots on the computer system with over 500 lots already photographed. Items are pouring in again folks so it is looking like another huge three-day event, we are not sure exactly when this will take place, but it is looking like either the 1st or 2nd week in September.

Now we have set on more staff, it is looking like we could get back to more regular sales. maybe soon to get back to weekly ones. Also, we have been discussing doing special sales every three months. So, there is a lot going on at A.S.H. Auctions.

Oh, I nearly forgot, we are running a timed sale on www.easyliveauction.com platform and our own bidding platform www.ashauctions.co.uk. We uploaded it on Tuesday 11th August at 2.00pm and it runs until Saturday 22nd August where it will start to shut down at 8.00pm.
