Good afternoon one and all.
First of all I would like to thank everyone who took part in the sale on Sunday 19th April 2020.I'm sorry in the delay of writing this news article, but because of the overwhelming success of the sale we have been at the saleroom processing orders, packing and sending of goods, receiving lots for the next sale, etc. Its been four days of non- stop work. We thank the two staff members who have been with us all week, they have really pulled out the stops.
We have now received all payments and I can announce that this sale has been the best one we have had since we went on line. To say this in the situation that we found ourselves in at this moment in time is unbelievable. So again we thank you all for supporting us through these very unprecedented times.
The procedures that we have put into place for goods in and goods out have worked brilliantly and have been remarked on by all using them. We have also had to add social distancing measures within the saleroom so that our staff can work safely while packing, etc.
The success of last Sundays sale has spread throughout the land and we have had no end of emails, phone calls, text messages, pigeon post and every other method of contact known to man asking about entering lots, when is the next sale, etc. We have had loads of praise about how we conducted the last sale, about our light hearted approach, the banter and making it a very entertaining afternoon/evening, even when I announce that I might break in to song, which I didn’t. Hey maybe next time who knows.
Anyway back to business, because of the response we have had and are still receiving for the next sale. It's looking like it may have to be a two day event. No date has been fixed yet but we are aiming for the 9th And 10th May which is a Saturday and Sunday. I will of course keep you all informed via email, social media, etc.
So that’s it for now folks. Enjoy the weekend, please stay safe and do your bit by following the guidelines.
