Our last sale WOW!!! and news on our next two

Share:

Good day everyone

Well, what can I say about the last two-day event? It was totally amazing, our four live bidding platforms were fantastic, and a bidding war exploded in a fury of bids on both Saturday and Sunday

I hope you all enjoyed the experience as much as we did, I personally had never seen anything like it and of course all this reflected on the sale results. Our vendors were absolutely overwhelmed by the prices their items realized. We have invested a lot of time and money in getting where we are today and at last it has started to come all together for us, our customers and our vendors. I have got some interesting ideas and so we will continue to try and improve the whole experience for all involved.

I promised to analyse the bidding platforms when I had the chance, I have done this now and I can reveal that Platform 1 (Easyliveauction.com) is still the daddy of the platforms here at A.S.H. Auctions, but Platform 3 (A.S.H. Auctions.co.uk) is awfully close behind now. I must say to Eileen who is the owner of Platform 2 (Ukauctioneers.com) that what ever she and her team have done has worked, as the platform has been brilliant in the two sales that we have done this year. snapping at the heels of the leading two. The latest Platform (Bidspirit.com) Platform 4 Is again improving with every sale and I am pleased with not only the results but their commitment to improve the system.

All of this could not happen if it were not for our wonderful team, they again have pulled out all the stops. Maria is now fully in charge in managing team A.S.H. and I must take my hat off to her because of her dedication I am now able to concentrate on other business matters.

We have now had all monies in and have started to pay our vendors out. As usual there were a couple of non-payers. These now have been dealt with in the usual manner and their actions may stop them from bidding at other auction houses in the future. All bidding platforms are informed of bad payers and their security system will stop these people from registering to bid.

Our next sale is a different type of sale, which I mentioned in the last newsletter, it is a stock clearance of new items. The sale consists of 675 lots and has been uploaded to all four of our live bidding platforms. It will take place from our Cobridge Hall Sale Rooms on Sunday 21st February commencing at 11. 00am.It will be an On-Line only sale!!!!!! We are offering a virtual viewing service for this sale starting on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th, Thursday 18th, Friday 19th And Saturday 20th February Between 9.00am and 3. 00pm.If you are interested in taking part in the virtual viewing you must contact us and book a slot.

Our next General, Antiques & Collectable Sale is well under way and we have now got over 1,100 lots on our database and photographed. This sale is going to be another two-day event and we have provisionally pencilled in the 6th & 7th March for this sale. That will give us a week to sort out the stock clearance sale.

So good people enjoy the rest of your weekend and of course its valentine’s day to day so I hope you are spoiling your partners.

Kind Regards

Mr Lee Sherratt (Owner/Auctioneer)
